Caroline's Christening and Kate's Birthday Continued!

On Sunday, September 9, we had Caroline's Christening, and it was the day of Kate's actual birthday (we celebrated the day before with Kate's friends and their parents at the Discovery Museum).

We woke up and went to church and then had a brunch for family and friends at our house.  It was a beautiful day to celebrate our girls.  Robby and I are so grateful for these precious daughters and for all the people in our/their lives who love us all so well!

Ready to go!

Loving on Granddaddy!

The big moment...the girls did great!  And Kate especially loved singing, "Jesus Loves Me."

No tears...well, except from me!;)

Back home at the brunch with Uncle Keith and Aunt Jan

Poor Granddaddy was tired of pictures!;)

My Covenant School Friends--we have been friends for nearly 20 years!!

Leslie is like a second mom to me!  Love this lady!:)

The cake

Kate was very pleased to have another cake!

And she loved that everyone sang to her again!

Our dear friends, Emily and Dave, drove from DC to celebrate with us!

Kate enjoyed opening more gifts!

Caroline slept through almost the whole party--she could sleep through just about anything!:)

So thankful for these precious ones!
