Sunshine and Blue Skies!

This weekend we went to Florida to visit Robby's grandparents, Dee and Sam. We had a wonderful time, and we were so thankful to relax in the sunshine and be with family!

This was Kate's first time on a plane, and she was a trooper! She learned to nap on Robby and me in the plane, and only cried for about 5 minutes of the whole trip (a minor miracle!).

Trip highlights Include:

• Swimming in Dee and Sam's heated pool. Truly amazing to be outside and in a pool again!
• Eating delicious meals (Kate perfected saying, "yummy" and "one more." She really is a girl after my own heart!)
• Going on a date with Robby while Dee and Sam babysat Kate (THANK YOU, Dee and Sam!)
• Visiting MOTE aquarium--I have never seen Kate so excited about anything! She kept running to all of the tanks and saying, "fish, fish" and trying to kiss them.
• Robby enjoyed getting a little color (for the record: Claire does not even try anymore--it's a physical impossibility!)
• AND most importantly spending time with Dee and Sam!!

It was in the high 70's and sunny for our trip. When we returned to Charlottesville, it was 32 degrees outside, and we had icicles hanging from our car! Talk about a shock to the system! BRRR!

Kate and her Cousins!

Kate is so blessed to have three cousins, who she LOVES and ADORES!

Alina and Livia, her cousins who live in Knoxville, came to visit us for a few days last week, and Kate loved having them here to play with her. She could not get enough of them, and we had several late nights because the girls were having such fun together.

Kate's other cousin, Adelyn, lives in Charlottesville, so the girls get to play together at least weekly! I would have loved to grow up near my cousins! What a blessing for these girls!!

Big Dog! Big Fun!

Aunt Cam brought Kate a puppy dog (of the stuffed variety), and Kate LOVES him! Kate is giving him plenty of hugs, kisses and attention. Maybe now Ivy will have a little peace and quiet! Thank you Aunt Cam for the awesome new addition! We clearly love him!

A Week Indoors!

Kate had a cold/stomach virus last week, so we have spent A LOT of time indoors! When it snowed last week, we even brought some snow inside in tupperware containers to play with.... Yes, we were desperate!

We have also had many tea parties with each other (and Ivy) and spent a lot of time loving on all of Kate's "bebes." I love time at home with my girl, but we are both so happy to be feeling better and to be able to socialize again! Here are a few pictures from the last week.
