Hold onto your hats folks-- we have lots to catch up on! We have been out of town three times in the last three weeks--hence the complete lack of blog posts. But before I post any of our travel updates, I have a long overdue post...
Kate has a new best "buddy"...her baby doll, Emma. Emma came with us on all of our trips, and is in the majority of our pictures. In fact, Emma goes with Kate everywhere...out to eat, in the car, to bed, to the park, to the pool (you get the picture... :)). "Where's baby, Emma?!" is one of Kate's FAQs, and Robby and I are often sent on wild goose hunts around the house until we find her!
Kate also meticulously cares for her baby Emma. Emma always has a "fresh diaper" and her pacifier. Kate rocks her and sings her lots of lullabies. She will not let anyone else hold Emma (she is a very protective little mama!;))
But before you decide to leave your newborn with Kate for more than two seconds, Kate also throws baby Emma across the room and proudly pronounces, "She jumps!" Good thing Emma is made of plastic! ;)
