Just in time to say, "bye bye" to our old house and "hello" to our new one! I still can't believe that we are moving tomorrow!!

Happy (almost) Birthday, Addie!

This weekend we celebrated Cousin Adelyn's first birthday. Addie's real birthday is on Wednesday, but around here we like to celebrate birthdays for at least a week (okay...let's be honest, I call November my "birthday month") :) So here's to you, Addie, in your birthday week/month!! Enjoy! It was so fun to celebrate with you this weekend! We love you, sweet girl!

Buckets, Boxes and Bins...Oh My!

We have less than two weeks until we move (I cannot believe it!!), and we have been packing, emptying and organizing like crazy! Since I packed the contents of the bucket in Kate's room, I thought I would put her in it for the perfect photo op! Kate had other ideas, and decided to eat her bucket instead. I got one good picture above...and the rest look like the one below! I guess it was her way of getting me to focus on the task at hand.... "no more packing breaks, Mom!"

Kate's new favorite spot to play is on our staircase. Before the grandparents start to worry, she can only pull up to a standing position...no climbing yet! :)

Now that Kate is pulling up on things to stand... she is also doing a lot of falling down!

Anyone who has ever seen Kate take a tumble, could tell you that she can be a bit dramatic when she falls! I have absolutely no idea where she inherited her flare for the dramatic! ;)

To try to help her understand that she is okay when she falls back, I have started clapping whenever she takes a tumble! She loves it, and she giggles almost every time!

It it is hard for me to believe that eight months ago today, I became a mom. I am loving every minute (even the fussy ones!) with this little girl. Robby and I are so thankful for her! Busy Bee

Kate's crawling and pulling up is really progressing! Gone are the days when I could leave her to run into the other room. Now, I can hardly look away from Kate for two seconds before she is into something else. I took this series of pictures over the weekend--Kate loved pulling up on her shelf in her room and knocking off all of her stuffed animals.

Standing Tall (well, at least until she falls!)

Last week, Kate started pulling herself up into a standing position. As you can see from these pictures, she is quite proud of herself! She is all smiles until she lets go... and then she is less than pleased!
