Thankful

This Thanksgiving we count our blessings.

We are so blessed to have Kate, each other, and all of our wonderful family and friends.

We were supposed to go to the beach with Robby's family, but we got the stomach bug, and we were unable to travel. Luckily, however, Kate felt great! She had a ball hanging out with family, eating delicious food and most of all playing with her cousins, Alina and Livia.

My cousin, Ryan and his dog Rusty, also came for a visit on their way back to NYC. Kate absolutely loved meeting Ryan and playing with Rusty!

Since we weren't feeling well, the paparazzi was not at their best, however we did manage to snap a few pictures of the cousins playing.

Hide and Seek!

I feel like we have been hiding from the world for the last week. We have all been battling a cold. And just when I thought we were getting better, Kate and I got a stomach bug! Robby has been taking great care of his girls! We are so thankful for him!

And since we haven't gotten out of the house much lately, we have been playing a lot of inside games. And as a result, Kate has become a peek-a-boo pro.

Kate loves to "hide" behind our rocking chair.... I love that she smiles the whole time and has no idea that we can see her until she decides to pop her head out...oh, our not so sneaky little trickster!

Kate has a new friend...

Meet little Charlie...my Dad and Amy's new Cockapoo! We went to North Carolina for a visit this weekend, and we got to meet the newest member of the family. :) Kate is a huge fan, and Charlie seems to like her just as much!

We also got to see my dear friend, Marie! It was so wonderful catching up!

Happy Halloween (Buggy Style)!

Happy Halloween!!

To celebrate, we took our little ladybug to the Lawn at UVa for some Halloween fun. Every year, the Lawn is decorated for Halloween. There are always lots of kids trick or treating and showing off their costumes, and this year was no exception! We met up with some of Kate's friends (and their parents!) and had a great time!

Playgroup

Kate and I are so blessed to be a part of a wonderful playgroup. We look forward to Tuesdays when we all get together each week! Kate LOVES her friends, and I LOVE her friends and their Mamas! :) We have been talking about getting pictures of the group for months, and we finally succeeded this week!
