Little Red Wagon

Kate got a red wagon last week, so now we are riding to the neighborhood pool in style! ;)

She is hilarious in the wagon and grins the whole way to and from the pool. She is especially happy when there are people in their yards so that she can wave and smile at them.

Thank you Granddaddy for Kate's new wheels! :)

Oh Cheerio!

Kate has just learned to eat Cheerios, and she LOVES them!! She is all smiles when she sees the box. Apparently, however, Cheerios are not just for eating..

She also likes to wear them...note the Cheerio on her chin and that tightly gripped little Cheerio filled hand!

Okay, I admit it.... I take WAY too many pictures of Kate! If Kate ever becomes famous, then she will have no problem dealing with the paparazzi! :) Oh well, enjoy these pictures from our time out on the deck yesterday. Happy Father's Day and weekend pictures!

This weekend we went to Cary, NC to celebrate Father's Day and for Brantley Springett's baby shower. We had a wonderful time visiting my dad and Amy and seeing all of my Carolina girls! Kate also got to go swimming for the first time. Kate liked the water, but mostly she loved all of the attention she got this weekend! :)

A week with Grandmama Donna!

Last week, we were so lucky to have my grandmother, Grandmama Donna, come visit us! We all loved having her here, and we miss her so much already! She babysat for Kate, helped me unpack the house, walked Ivy, and helped decorate (our china cabinet has never looked so good!). I don't know what we would have done without her.

Nine Months Old!

Today, Kate is nine months old! She is growing and changing so quickly--I feel like I can hardly keep up. We love watching her joyful personality emerge! She is always smiling or giggling about something (unless she is tired or hungry, and then she lets you know!!).

She is also starting to get into just about everything. She shakes her head "no" at the off limit items, and then grabs them anyway. The new house will have to be baby proofed pronto! :)

We were also very excited that she learned to say, "dada," this month. You should see Kate light up when her "dada" comes home from work!

Boxes galore!

We moved into our new house on Tuesday, and we could not be more excited! We have been unpacking as fast as we can, but we have not really made a dent in all of the boxes. I have to admit, I would not be sad if I never see another box again...unless of course it is filled with a cute baby! :) We will try to post a couple of pictures of the house soon...once we uncover it! :)
