Apple Pickin'

On Sunday afternoon, we went up to Carter's Mountain to pick some apples. After picking the perfect pumpkin last weekend at Carters Mountain--we had to go back for some apples. Plus, we ran out of apple cider donuts, so we needed to get more as soon as possible! They should not even be legal-- they are so good!

Lisee, Poppy and Rudy and Veronica met us up there, and we had a great time! Enjoy a few pictures from the trip!

13 Months Old and A Day in the Park!

This weekend Kate turned 13 months old! We celebrated with a quick trip to the neighborhood park. While Kate prefers to go to the park with her buddy, Turner, this weekend she had to settle for her parents! :) We had a great time, and I am not sure who enjoyed the slides more...us or Kate!

More Weekend Fun--Carters Mountain!

On Saturday after the game and a much needed nap, we took Kate up to Carters Mountain. Kate "picked out" the perfect pumpkin , and we all three enjoyed a picnic dinner, fresh picked apples and some yummy apple cider donuts.

Kate also took her first photo board pictures (I am not sure if that is what they are really called), but they were hilarious. Enjoy and Happy October!

First Football Game!

On Saturday, we took Kate to her very first football game! Since the game was during her nap, we only made it for the first half--but we all had a great time! Kate was mesmerized by all of the people, and she was especially fond of the Cav man and his horse. Thank you Lisee and Poppy for the precious game day dress!

While we never took Kate to a game last year, we did take her to a tailgate. Here is a flash back of Kate and her buddy, Turner, on their way to their first tailgate. I can't believe how small they were!

Happy Birthday, Mer!

Last weekend, we went to North Carolina to celebrate my little sister, Merideth's birthday.

We had a wonderful time. Kate loved seeing her grandparents and her aunts! Sorry we didn't get any pictures of the rest of the family--the paparazzi wasn't at her best this weekend!;)

Picnic and Polo

On Sunday, we enjoyed a polo match and picnic at King Family Vineyards with the whole Wood family. It was a beautiful day, and we had a great time relaxing and catching up with everyone. Kate loved being outside, playing with her cousin, Addie, and watching the horses.
